1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Listen up all you doubters, listen up one and all.
Heed the words being spoken at St George’s Hall.
Tell the Liverpool fans now that they killed their own.
Listen and take in the truth as it gets drilled home.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The Liverpool fans were heroes’ they all did their bit.
If not for their actions then more candles would be lit.
We’re guilty of nothing, never had anything to hide.
The fans will forever be dressed in dignity and pride.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 I look at the 96 pictures shown on the big screens.
I see the many smiles of youth and of confident teens.
A single tear falls from my eye and rolls on to my cheek.
Over 23 years since Hillsborough and still I am weak.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 A new chapter begins today and we are freshly armed.
We now own the truth we can’t be wronged or harmed.
The next step is to seek justice, that’s the one we’ll take.
And that step starts tomorrow of that make no mistake.
