As Becks has often showed,
But then there’s Jonny Wilkinson,
Although he plays another code,
It sometimes makes you wonder
Who’s best bender of a ball,
Especially when you see them
Circumvent the wall…

So I don’t go along
With all this adulation,
Hype and dance and song,
There’s no-one who can bend it
On or off a football pitch,
As good as DAVE DEE, DOZY,
BEAKY, MICK AND TICH…
