as the players leave the ground
Fans have all made the way
to journeys homeward bound

a darkness does desend
But Tottenham does not go to sleep
the history does not end

but a presence still is there
The stands are all so empty
but theres a echo in the air

than to succeed aiming low
The words of a great man
one we all should know

he was Tottenham to his core
He loved this famous football club
who’s tops we have all wore

that sir Bill Nic would tell

he was dedicated to our team
push and run with Arthur rowe
was Nicholson’s Tottenham dream

and a goal that he did score
injuries badly plagued him
