First game,
We were put to shame
Lost all three points and
A player to the physician care.

Second game,
In the Carling Cup chance of fame
A much weaker team we overcame,
But another player lost to the physician’s care.

Third, fourth, fifth and the sixth much the same,
Only once the opposition we overcame,
Losing a player every game,
What in heaven’s name
Is going on and who is to blame?

Judging by his luck on the injury front,
Black cats the Gaffer seems continues to dispatch
We all hope they due accident and not desire,
To solve this problem we must all aspire
Left any longer it will backfire.

Demise so many felines, RSPCA
Will suspect some foul play,
Losing of a player every game
The club will soon foldaway,
Before the ailurophiles and RSPCA
March to the gates of Riverside Stadium
And corner their prey
The guardians of the club
Should offer a sacrifice straightaway
And get Mr. Strachan a pair of specs!
