Dream still alive (Apologies to Thin Lizzy)

You’ll never guess Boro’s score today
Four – one, yes four – one to Boro,
Them wild-shooting boys, who couldn’t hit the back of the net
Even after the opposition had gone home
Crazy cats, have grown in tigers
Mauling poor Doncaster Rovers four – one
The cats are now tigers
I said the cats are tigers.

With Artic winter,
Shortage of gritting salt
Treacherous ice all round town
Driving Boro’s people crazy
At last it’s time to celebrate
Cos the cats have grown into tigers
Yeah baby cats are tigers

Boro’s opened their 2010 account in style
Dream of promotion
Resurrected, like Lazarus
Time to celebrate
And wish happy New Year to every fan
Let’s pretend its Friday night
Time not to spill blood but for drinks to flow
Drink the local dry
At last the cats have grown into tigers
That’s what I said have grown into tigers.
