The fans will still chant your name

Leaving this theatre of ‘not all it seems’
We’ll still sing the Huckerby song

You were there when we went down again
You gave us good times to remember
We put you in our ‘Hall of Fame’

Many fans just do not agree
It won’t be the same without you
Oh Huckerby- hucker-hucker-bee!

Notes

Few players actively want to sign for Norwich City. Huckerby did and we won’t forget that. He was an instant hit with the fans and voted Player of the Season twice.

Darren Huckerby was released by Norwich City yesterday, two days after the end of the season. Many fans are angry that they had no chance for a proper send-off.
