I’ll never be a scouser,
But I’ll always be a Red.

I’ll never be a scouser,
Scousers don’t come from Chester, or so it is often said.
But Ian Rush is my fellow Cestrian,
And no one would say he’s not truely Red.

I’ll never be a scouser,
But in my heart I’m told,
All I need is to sing my heart out,
“On the fields of Anfield Road”.

I’ll Never be a scouser,
And now I need not try,
Cos’ I know where it matters,
I’m a Red until I die.
