Legalised Grass

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 But I thought it always was
In fact I thought it was lauded
To see the grown and growing
Grunt and groan
And huff and puff
Atop a verdant splendour
Eschewing the tender
With sinew busting
Cut and thrusting
But now the playing fields are muddied
As reputations, once rightly sullied
Now revel, in the freedom of the park
Now it’s seemingly ok to lark
And to play with the nark (otics)
Who no longer has to give the game away
So dodgy gear, will be de-rigeur
And colour clashes, will just be splashes
On a cranial canvas of mind expansion
As usual, the government cares not a jot
As you can probably tell, me grammer has gone to pot
But as for me, I think I’ll pass
On this newly legalised grass

Notes

In my opinion, red card for Blunkett of Labour FC (not football club, but something to do with buffoons)
