i’m often asked, why Millwall,
my answer is, are you a fool,
to me, and thousands like me,
we are obseesed, by our MFC,
we take some stick,
as no one likes us,
do we care, do we ever fuss,
ha ha i always smile,
when i say i’m Millwall,
oh, comes the answer,
to me, just another fool.
for we’ve been labeled,
animals n thugs,
i often wonder by who,
just non understanding mugs,
or is it an inbred hate,
of us. the elite,
were never forgotten
once we meet,
the headlines we make,
are unsavoury, i guess,
but we’re not alone,
to clear up the mess,
in all the years,
when times were hard,
the same ol brush,
we have been tarred,
but i ave to laugh,
cos we’re
a breed apart,
hitting different manors
ol’ bill we out-smart,
so when you arrive,
us to see,
ave a good day,
in Bermondsey,
it’s a place i love,
and one, you’ll never forget,
like our Millwall,
you’ll be glad we met,
so close your eyes,
and drift away,
cos as sure as hell,
we’ll be meeting one-day
and as our roar,
sends shivers down your spine,
you’ll see us huddled,
on the alfway line,
look to coldblow,
then around,
you’ll see the Millwall faithfull,
in the new Den, our shrine,
our ground,
close your eyes,
let your eyes close some more,
then open em up,
an listen,
to the Millwall Roar……………………..
