Mother’s Day Love

No cards off my girls today, presents I have none.
My girls are now in Heaven nearly 24 years gone.
Denied of a chance to marry, never to be a bride.
But I know they are Angels in Heaven side by side.
No flowers for me today, no kisses upon my cheek.
But I feel love from my girls every day of the week.
My girls would be women now, beautiful and grown.
No surprises for me today, but all their love I still own.
Hillsborough took so much away, that I have to say.
But I know my girls still love me on this Mother’s Day.
