You wouldn’t think
That the old man
Walking down the corridor towards you
Is, to many, a sporting hero.
Captained his club
Managed his club
Lifted the FA Cup
Played for his country.
The Lion of Vienna
A fierce opponent on the field,
A gentleman off it.
One man, one club
A legend
A sporting hero.
To you, just a colleague
And an ageing gentle man
Simply that,
Just Nat
