And that our bubble will burst just you wait
But just go for a pint in the City
And see smiling faces on Gallowgate.
For there is no better place on the planet
When the football is all going to plan
So please keep on dismissing our chances
And keep writing about this flash in the pan.
But that bubble just keeps getting bigger
And showing no signs of going pop
And maybe there’s a few worried faces
Down at the Bridge or up on the Kop.
So please let us Geordies savour the present
For who knows just how long it will last
And let us enjoy our days in the sunshine
We have weathered many a storm in the past.

Next up is an away trip to face Man City, when one of us could lose our unbeaten record…….But a word of caution, dont put too much money on it being the TOON.
