From early on, and days gone by
I’ve witnessed the toughest of men
cry laugh and then again cry.
On the terraces
watching our Millwall,
it was always gonna be
more than, just football.

In outsider’s eyes
we’ve never been the best
but never backed off
when put to the test.
Our reputation was built on
more than having a normal fan
RIP our big man.

O Barry Kitchener
an empty feeling fills our heart,
the best there was
right from the start.

Our big man Kitch
you gave it all,
you meant more to us
than a man in football.
The passion you showed
was that more than a fan
R.I.P.
our big man.
Your smile, your courage
the pleasure you gave,
will be with each and everyone of us who met you –
taken to our grave.

Now Kitchy
you’ve gone to above,
never will you be forgotten
we’ll never lose that love.
So these empty days
ahead of us
I know you’d not want
any big deal or fuss.
