Remember us, on those idle Tuesday mornings, when work is getting you down,
think back to your club’s year and date and paint a smile upon that frown,
for it us who are the real turning points in history, yes us, not Hitler or Hussein,
for it is on those dark and miserable Saturday afternoons in Winter, when we cemented our name.

Interest is fading in Churchill and Byron, kids are now asking about the third round,
and what it was like to be Mickey Thomas with a minute to go, on the pitch at the Racecourse ground.
The kids don’t seem to care about their geography either, no1 knows of the Taj Mahal or the beautiful Niagara falls,
instead, they are swapping lessons for the playground, 12 of them imitating Ricky George.
