Do not get enough to eat,
And you’re a famous footballer,
It’s easy – write a tweet.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 If you reckon Generation Z
Enough books do not read,
And you are a comedian,
Go on, fire off a tweet.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 If you host a flagship TV show
That’s called MOTD,
Believe that migrants in small boats
Are getting a raw deal,

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 That the terms used to describe them
Recall Nazi Germanee,
And wish to stir our consciences,
No problem – send a tweet.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 For tweets are very powerful,
They often get results,
Can force our Rulers to backtrack,
And perform somersaults.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 No need to go on hunger strike,
Refuse to drink or eat,
To give the world a shake-up,
Just type a snappy tweet!
