But shot his kick was to close to the goalie.
Oliver Kahn, thought it was easy against the Czech B team,
Played relaxing football and home he went as Germany lost.
The defending champs wished they could live underground,
Hiding their faces from the tiny Greeks,
Zidane and Barthez would be better at cooking french foods in Paris.
Totti thought he could play, for his nation,
Though Italy went out before he realised he had three banned games,
Hitting his head against a goal at the end of the game.
Now, the big monsters are out,
Gazing at their TV sets while their feet yearning to kick.
