Only a fool,
Long gone are the days
When you acted the mule.

You did your time
Didn’t you Tony,
And emerged from your cell
A completely new pony.

You worked and you trained,
Completed the course.
Turned yourself into
A thoroughbred racehorse.

Now time is moving on,
You’ll soon be put out to stud.
You’ve grafted and worked
Through the rain and mud.

Your limbs are aching,
Tired and sore,
But be proud.
