No reason from the FA independent three
At least not until this year dies and 2012 dawns
The only evidence the word of Patrice Evra
Of what may have been said in the Kop goal mouth
That no one else seems to have heard
With a guilty until proven innocent approach
The outcome was hardly a surprise
But so little evidence and with no reasoning to the new year
Liverpool forums have been working over time
As fans jumped to the defence of Liverpool’s number seven
Expressing outrage at the FA, using language I’d rather not repeat
Whilst Kenny and the players wore Suarez shirts at the DW
But with the anti-Liverpool approach of the media
Even the show of support had to be defended by the King himself
Players tweeting their support of Suarez
As the media branded Suarez a racist
But we all know what happens to newspapers
That print headlines as facts then don’t provide substantial evidence*
And of course all this does have its benefits
As in case you haven’t noticed
Fans, Players and the Manager have come together
To voice the belief of Suarez’s innocence
United we stand, divided we fall
We shall never walk alone

Notes

As a liverpool fan I shall maintain that Suarez was treated unfairly until such a time when the FA come up with significant reasons their verdict

* the daily mirror printed the headline “Suarez is racist” and there is now a rumour circulating that the aformentioned paper has been banned from LFC
