Use a rainbow as a ladder
Can you peep through the clouds
As the stars quickly gather
Can you punch through the fog
And cut a hole into the haze
Can you see down from heaven
And watch the redmen play?

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Can you talk to the missing
Whose faces loved in dreams
Come back to send a message
But in daylight quickly leave
Can you jump from a comet
And then travel back in time
With a hope in your pocket
And with Anfield on your mind

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Can you reach down from heaven
And then wipe away the tears
Pack death away with tragedy
There’s no place for them here
Can a song travel quicker
Than a wish or fervent prayer
And when the Redmen reign as Champions
Will my Dad in heaven see from there?
