1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Goalkeeping howlers – one happened today.
The keeper is scarlet, the rest of us bray.
He wishes to borrow the vanishing spray.
Oh, forget all those divers and foulers
and thank God for great goalkeeping howlers.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Goalkeeping howlers – the Russian is red.
He wishes perhaps that he’d stayed in his bed.
Oh, why did he throw the ball over his head?
Up till then, we were moaners and scowlers –
we’re now buoyed by those goalkeeping howlers.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Goalkeeping howlers – you should’ve been there.
Korea opportunities had been quite rare.
The keeper is like a sore head with a bear.
Oh, forget all those six-yard-box prowlers
and give thanks for great goalkeeping howlers.
