WE, the poorer brothers and sisters .
WE listen to the radio in the kitchen,
local or national.
WE cannot afford tickets.
WE cannot afford Satellite channels .
So WE listen.
WE listen well,
and WE grow angry.
Tomorrow,
when the oil runs out,
when the money runs out,
when the super rich get bored,
when the middle classes are ignored,
when something new comes along
for them to spend their money on,
Then,
football will be ours again.
WE will wait.
Extra time, penalties, generations
because WE are football.
