The fans are sold a pup.
It’s really an illusion
Now – this magic of the Cup.

Ah sure, we’ll let the minnows
Pulsate brightly like a star
But the dimple on my chin knows
That they won’t progress too far.

The big four and their money
Have the silverware sewn up.
It’s too sad now to be funny,
There’s no magic in the Cup.

The quest for endless profit
Is most def’nitely to blame.
