With a modicum of fuss
Whilst the Irish backs had trouble parking
The team’s defensive bus.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 “An early goal is crucial”
The know all football sceptics say
No it ain’t but as per usual
We’re set on doing it the hard way.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Trap will have to sort the wingers out
McGeadys gotta go
While the Mackem’s hare deserves a shout
Of performing at the show.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Italy? Not a problem?
Spain are out on their feet
Or am I’m searching for consolation,
Trying to be positive in defeat?
