Tired with grief, with anguish and pain.
Weary of my tears falling like rain.
But still they fall, and guess always will.
The sorrow I felt then, feels the same still.

Tired of the loneliness that my loss brought.
Tired of the liars, not punished yet caught.
This tiredness will continue until closure I see.
But then I fear, just what will be left of me?

The toll on my heart, it’s impossible to state.
The toll on my mind, now a massive weight.
This nightmare I worry will be with me to stay.
A nightmare that began 26 years ago today.
