Crunching Tackle

It was such a crunching tackle
That both his legs fell off.
He hollered like a jackal
With his nose caught in the trough.
But though it was the penalty spot
That both his legs did land on,
The ref said, “Penno? You’ve not got
A single leg to stand on.”
