I say nothing of admiration,
for glories past and futures to fulfill,
but does it not tug at you?
to notice how great this mighty club is.

I fail to speak in awe of it all,
when such feets are accomplished,
the people dream to make you win,
we sing to beat the record books.
¶ 3

I grieve for the reasons why,
we took so long to get here,
it was only right we suffered,
but we were just children then.

I can’t help but cry now,
we are to achieve our destiny,
20 years we were left without,
the pride filters through us all.

I hope in all my heart,
the omens swing the tide,
it surely is our moment,
of a glorious, glorious accomplishment.
¶ 6

I wish for my little daughter,
that she does not have to wait,
for what we are to become,
surely are of legends in the end.
