Sing me a song a song of the Redmen
Let all of the Kop Choir rise up and sing
Bill Shankly in heaven with 96 Angels
The toll of the Justice Bell still yet to ring
Names on a wall brothers and sisters
Fathers and daughters husbands and sons
Bill Shankly in heaven with 96 Angels
All walk in heaven where none walk alone
How many tears can the earth hold with sadness
How many hearts can be broken betrayed
Bill Shankly in heaven with 96 Angels
Seeking the truth that cruel lies stole away
16 years on and the fight isn’t over
JUSTICE found wanting and swept under lies
But the struggle continues we’ll WALK ON forever
The past not forgotten wrongs must be put right
So sing me a song a song of the Redmen
Let all of the Kop Choir rise up and sing
Bill Shankly in heaven with 96 Angels
One day with loved ones together again.
