Away fans have all the fun

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 West Ham bringing nearly seven thousand
so there’ll be a lot of bubbles blowing around
one end full of Claret and Blue Londoners
so the Ricoh should be full of noise and sound.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 They’ll be expecting a nice easy win I guess
that’s why they’re bringing so many up
the last time the away support was that large
was against Leeds and Chelsea in the Cup.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Away fans always seem to be having fun
determined to have a really good day out
but home fans sometimes can’t be bothered
so they let the visitors sing and shout.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Talking to away fans before the game
they always seem to be in a jovial mood
they are up for a good old sing song
and of course lots of beer and food.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So Saturday should be a lively affair
so our fans will try hard to compete
but as we are near to the bottom
all I hope is we just don’t get beat !

Notes

West Ham are bringing a large support to our place this weekend, which should liven up things.

Whenever I’ve been to away games I have always noticed how noisy and boisterous our fans are, but at home they sometimes don’t get motivated enough.

But this seems to be the case at a lot of grounds I’ve been to, all the noise seems to come from the away end !
