By the hangers on and wags

For giving you false hope
Back home they’ll be needing a lorry
To get all that German shopping home

And crying in their beer
Back home the FA just paid out twenty million
To a bloke more suited to Ikea

That we only get going when it’s tough

I’ve just read the London evening paper where the whole England set up has been absolutely slaughtered!

This piece is just an observation not my personal opinion!

I think this was the England song from the Mexico 1970 World Cup squad though I could be wrong?
