Notes

‘The Enduring Melody’ is the title of a book by Michael Mayne. ‘Cantus Firmus’- meaning ‘fixed music’- is the title of a painting by Bridget Riley. Some things endure, whatever the division.

Editor Note: Our Football Poets on Facebook haiku of The Week~
Great ‘enduring’ images Alex. Keep on.

On a personal level, my childhood weekends were the Bridge one
Saturday and the Cottage the next.. We played football in Bishops Park as kids. One of the best walks to a game on the planet.
