I haven’t got a crystal ball
Though I suspect our keepers got a glass eye
Norwich City have champagne on ice
While they share out poachers pie

When our manager clears his lines
Of defenders that never managed it
We wait to see who signs

Sadly not within our city walls
We got some players, shopping centre style
Once you seen one, you seen a Mall

They have undefinable qualitiies
Utility players, they can play anywhere
Just not very well, it has to be said
To twenty thousand fans, it’s clear

The lads played well, deserved to win
But, glaringly, obviously, they didn’t!
