Desperately Immature, But..

People will clap for a great piece of skill,
An audacious lob gives the crowd a great thrill,
An impudent nutmeg can get the crowd going,
They’ll cheer when the fortunes are ebbing and flowing.
A late sliding tackle evinces louds roars,
A great run and cross will win decent applause,
But as always, the heartiest cheer of them all
Is when the policeman gets hit with the ball.
