Football & Winter Green
¶ 1

Saturday, I’d been picked to play,
In our football team.
So, when we were getting ready,
I rubbed in some Winter Green
Liniment helps me loosen off,
And warms the muscles too.
But I forgot to wash my hands
When I went to the loo.

When we went out to play,
I was feeling rather hot.
There was nothing I could do,
Round about that spot.
Maybe if I ran quicker,
That would cool me down.
Or if I could find a puddle,
Lying on the ground.

Eventually it wore off,
By then I scored two goals.
I hadn’t stopped my running,
I’d beaten all the guys.
I wouldn’t do it every game,
But then, I could have some fun.
Spread some in their jockstraps,
That will make them run.
