Who looked forward to victory assured
Its never like that watchin’ Wanderers,
I think they’re afraid we’d be bored.

Most places the games good as over
But if you follow the whites instead
Second goals send you divin’ for cover

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 At most grounds referee’s time added
Is just a number held up on a board?
But for Bolton it holds different meaning
Predicting time til the other lot have scored.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 If football like rugby was eighty minutes long
we’d descend on the Reebok voices raised in song
Up on the foothills of a place in uefa
not clinging to survival thread the width of a wafer

For why I can’t fathom the reason
For 85 minutes per outing we’re up with the top of the pack
But thereafter 11 headless chickens attempt to rebut all attack

Fans of the Reebok would be leading the nation.
One year we won 9 games at near last kick
Since then injury time just makes me sick

Cos a last gasp goal is really exciting
