My Brother’s Birthday

I was looking for a card
That would show that I care
It was hard
There’s a lot of crap out there
And then I saw Keegan’s hair
And I remembered your own 80’s flair
Back then I wouldn’t go a day
Without mentioning Brian May
So here’s a card just to say:

33 now, you’re getting older
All our memories are getting longer
And you’re Uncle Matthew now
Lots of things to show George how

Not how to be a Red though
That won’t do, oh no
But if I am to prove an ineffective shield
Then it’s you that can take him to Anfield
Because Uncle Matthew’s so very cool
His obvious choice may well be Liverpool
But if he has fallen foul of temptation
Don’t be upset if he cheers on the opposition

Yes, the memories are growing
Your family too
And today is all about you, you, you
So happy birthday Uncle Matthew
From me, your sister-in-law and nephew
