on a cool September evening
played it hard

Both their Rogic and Mulgrew
blasted shots at Nico Caraux
saved them all

Then on ninety seven minutes
penalty against Celtic – practically unknown
up stepped our wee Dougie Imrie to find the net
and drive us Morton fans to ecstasy and beyond.

Then woke up very late
the next morning (or one after)
head hurt from

Perhaps we’ll never ever win
another game this whole season
doesn’t matter
we don’t care
as Morton beat the big Buoys in green.
