they’ve redesigned our game
it’s like there’s just the Premier League
and nothing else remains
I can’t believe it’s happ’ning
they’re taking it away
there must be something we can do
the classifieds must stay

at five for one and all
a lifeline to the football fan
of clubs both big and small
the voices with inflection
that keep suspense alive
the lower leagues and Scotland

who’s listened through the years
I can’t believe this treasure
will meet its end in tears
and you can say technology
has made them obsolete
but Sports Report at five o’clock
make Saturdays complete
and though they plan to bin it
it’s time to have our say
at home or leaving in your car
the Classifieds must stay

Totally shocked at this decison by the BBC . It’s all about the Premier League.
They now plan to ditch the legendary reading of the classfied football results on Sports Report on Saturdays. And why? Because they are adding on 5.30 live matches on 5 Live. No consideration for blind football fans and followers of the lower leagues, Scotland & Wales..Disgraceful. Petition please!
