1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Since Sam came along the whites are on song and all is going well,
Although we are in debt and the way things are set certain players he will have to sell,
But all is not lost as its being well bossed and he`s got us to play as a team,
Cos before under Todd our play was a bit odd and things never looked what they seemed,
So this is Sam`s test to see if he`s the best and the correct appointment for our boss,
Lets hope it goes well and only time shall tell to see if he`s not a dead loss,
Now we all cannot wait for that kick off date and the game with the claret and blue,
I thought there were times when the panic bells chimed but our Sammy will see us all through,
It`s a marvellous tool this new bosman rule we can sign who ever we like,
If they agree with the pay they are welcome to stay if not they can be on their bike,
Finally our fans have been bold by the tickets been sold we can expect a bloody good crowd,
It`s up to the boys to make lots of noise and make our stadium so loud.

Notes

Just before the opening game of the season2000/01 against Burnley.
The club have sold well over 10,000 season tickets and expecting a full house for that game.Sam has tried to bring new players in but uses the loan system well.
