They Come And Go
¶ 1

Many affluent owners
love wielding the axe,
they’ll get rid of the gaffer
by twitter,email,or fax.
So managers come and go
through a revolving door,
but they take it on the chin
and keep coming back for more.
Yet some can be greedy
and are open for a bung,
and call it entrapment
when they’ve been stung.
But it’s a well paid job
so it’s hard to give them pity,
unless that is he’s the manager
of my club Coventry City !
