They’ve Got The Boss They Didn’t Want!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 As Rovers take a punt on Sam
To appease their angry fans
Tis funny what six months or so can do
It barely seems like yesterday
The Ewood faithful said “No way”
Then to a man decided Ince should rule(sic).

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 A Rovers on-line vote dropped Sam
Down amongst the also rans
As Ince was given carte blanche to be boss
Now Rovers needs are somewhat dire
Big Sam has just been hired
To repair a leaky boat that’s looking lost.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 When next Rovers take the field
How will the paying faithful feel
Cheering on a bloke, they once rejected?
There’s nothing more a fan can say
After his appointment the other day
Than get prepared, to accept BIg Sam…. the unaccepted!

Notes

I really like the look of this little lot, when Mark (Sparky) Hughes vacated the Rovers job, Big Sam chucked his hat in the ring and was deffo interested, but… Rovers fans voted unanimously via an on-line petition against the Big Man getting the gig. They didn’t like the way his teams played the game, or so they said.

Now look how it’s all turned out, pretty interesting or what?
