1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Our manager said he loved the club
and he wasn’t about to leave
but I’ve just heard he’s off
so he had something up his sleeve.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 So to me he was deceitful
and is just a two faced creep
how can you treat us so shabbily
and how on earth can you sleep ?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 You should be a Banker in the City
a Politician or a local M.P.
as you sure can tell porkies
and you conned us fans of Coventry.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 So I hope your feeling pleased with yourself
as you’ve left us high and dry
but what us fans want to know is
you’ve gone to Huddersfield Town, Why ?

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So a word of warning you Terriers fans
when your boss leaves it won’t be your fault
it’s because another offer came his way
and he was off faster than Usain Bolt !

Mark Robins told the local paper on Monday that he loved being Coventry manager and he was here to do a job etc etc.
Then when he heard Huddersfield were interested in him he demanded that he talked to them. Now he’s off and taking his staff with him !
Us fans are left in the lurch again and the club are looking for yet another boss. What gets on my nerves is when players and managers say how they love their club and then the next minute they are off.
Being a Coventry supporter these days is so tough and I am wondering if it’s time to pack it all in ?

But what do you do on match days ?Answers on a postcard please !
