1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 We’ve paid our dues
at tournaments time after time,
and we’ve tried our best
but commited no crime.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 And bad mistakes
yes we’ve made a few,
had tears run down our face
but we’ve come through.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 We can be the champions my friends
if we keep on fighting till the end.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 We can be the champions
if we keep on fighting till the end,
we can be the champions
no time for losers
cause we can be champions of the world.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 We’ve all now taken our bows
and our curtain call,
football has brought us fame and fortune
and for that we thank you all.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 But it’s been no bed of roses
no pleasure cruise,
but here we are in Brazil
and we ain’t gonna lose.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 So yes England can be champions
if we keep on fighting till the end.

this time we ain’t gonna be the losers,
cause we can be the champions of the world !

I have the mighty Queen to thank for this as I’ve taken their massive anthemic song We Are The Champions,and changed the words here and there.
A bit optimistic no doubt but what a great track to lift the spirits of us England fans as we watch and hope ?
