Seven times we’ve made the way,
To Wembley Stadium for Final’s day,
With Stockport hearts we travel down,
In hope our lads will take the crown.

Four times at the old Twin Towers,
We dreamed of glory, longed for hours,
But each return was filled with sighs,
Defeat beneath those London skies.

Then rose the arch, so bold, so bright,
A symbol shining into sight,
And once it gave us cause to sing,
A win that felt like everything.

Against Rochdale AFC we stood so proud,
Our voices strong, our cheers so loud,
One golden day, one perfect scene,
The best that Wembley’s ever been.

But fate has not been kind since then,
Two more losses for Chally’s men,
The latest fall, a heavy blow,
To Luton Town, a painful show.

Yet still we’ll go, yet still we’ll stand,
With heads held high and scarves in hand,
For hope is something we don’t stash,
It lives in every County clash.

So next time beneath that arch we go,
Let victory finally start to flow,
And may Stockport County rewrite the page,
Another win at Wembley, centre stage.
