On a CRYSTAL clear SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY morning
The sun was FULHAM the AYR with splendour
ACCRINGTON STANLEY went BOLTON through the FOREST
As he heard the WOLVES give a HULL of a roar

As he reached the PALACE he PRESTON the doorbell
Her daughter CHELSEA answered with a WIGAN her head
“ALLOA my DARLINGTON, is your MOTHERWELL,
I wanna BURY the hatchet and BRIGHTON her day”

They STOKE the fire BURNLEY bright
Their meeting sends their HEARTS a STIRLING
