He shone so brightly
He helped turn us around
The “Doogs” got the ball

He played with a passion
With a flamboyant style
For one of his goals
We’d walk a mile

All that he did
He did with a big Heart
Not always right
But always played his part

He helped save our club
With five minutes to spare

He would always be there
