A Question of Bad Luck

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Did several black cats cross over your path?
Did you break a mirror getting out of the bath?
During dinner did you spill the salt cellar?
Has there ever been such an unlucky fella?

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 While at the Chinese restaurant, did you seek a number four?
Did you open up your brolly before you got to the front door?
When you looked out yonder window was that magpie all alone?
Is it hamstring or abductor, get th’ambulance on the phone?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 There was nothing in it, sure wasn’t it just a minor tussle?
Don’t tell me your rabbits foot has gone and pulled a muscle?
Will your love affair now be fulfilled with the onion bag?
Can Noelles holy water, stop you raising the white flag?

Notes

Our star striker John O’Flynn hobbled off again last Sunday, on form he is the deadliest striker in the Eircom League bar none but the poor lad has been crippled with injuries for the last number of seasons.
