Here’s one fan who’s doing a bunk
To sit in me seat on the sofa indoors
And the stadium? I’ll leave that to the unruly drunks.

In danger of swallowing his tongue
When the Brahms and Lizst rabble started to rant
“He’s timewasting, add some time on”.

Would a bloke stay knocked down with the vacant sign out
For the sake of a wasted few minutes?

Aimed at his prone team-mates form
The well on the way crowd then turned on him
With a crescendo of verbal assault.

Midst the furore of moronic abuse?
Thinking it feels like we’re back in the old days
When football fans, drank far too much booze.
