Just Passing By

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The many many days of blue
And dark nights we’ve all been through
They’re just passing by

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The half truths and lies
And people we’ve come to despise
The sneaky cheats
And words we can’t repeat
For those who would see us lose Castle street
They’re just passing by

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The problem days
And what now? days
They’re just passing by

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Another season of relegation
(no more days of elation)
The threat of extinction
(no more days of distinction)
They’re just passing by

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Many months of frustration
The Football Club in administration
Defensive disorientation
Midfield without imagination
Forwards lack of communication
Yet another annihilation
They’re just passing by

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 The vultures that circle overhead
And those who wish our club dead
They’re just passing by

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 Stockport County is life, everything else is just details!!

Notes

My ‘take’ on the McDonald advert currently on TV, there are good times just around the corner for our long suffering supporters.
