Now let me make it very clear,
though you’ll think it rather queer
for well over a year
my password has been ‘Greer’.

I barely shed a tear;
curled my lip into a sneer,
celebrated with a beer
when he left for Brighton pier.

Now the time is drawing near
to replace my password ‘Greer’
with something much more dear:
‘Big Vince’ will raise a cheer.

Perry’s name receives a jeer,
although I must make it clear
that I feel he will steer
Town into a higher tier.
