In praise of AC Milan

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 It is a sweet and commendable thing
to value justice above the win,
to decide that it is not okay
for fans to chant whatever they may,
when what they chant is racist bile,
it happens more than once in a while,
and when a player is under attack
they have a duty to fight back,
to take that walk and to refuse
to play and legitimise abuse.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Why the match wasn’t abandoned by the referee,
I wish that was a mystery
but the truth is, as we are all aware,
that most officials just don’t care.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 This was a great statement but it’s a shame,
I have never seen this done at a ‘real’ game.
